Shikishi!
Managed to pick up some shikishi in bulk while I was in SF so I was wondering if anyone would be interested in drawing something for me? I want to get all my shikishi (drawing/sign boards if you have no idea what I'm talking about) done by my friends so I can take them with me to Japan and decorate my apartment with positive vibes!
Here's an example of shikishi:
Jen did the one on the left AT Y-con, I did the one on the right for Y-con
(I can post some I've got from mangaka if you need more examples of what people do on these)
But yeah, that's about all you have to do, nothing super fancy, but nothing pencil-sketchy either as you can't really see that hung on a wall. Inks, markers, watercolors, it'll take most media and since it's a board it won't warp so you can go crazy if you want to with mixed media.
I'm trying to get drawings of either my OCs (which you can find with reference here:http://zombiejam.livejournal.com/148222.html) or of characters you know I like (If in doubt, ask lol, tho I'm pretty obvious with who I like I think).
Anyway, if you'd be interested in drawing one for me, leave me a comment with your address and I'll send you a blank shikishi out to work on. There's no "deadline" as to when I'd need them back, but I just DO need them back when you're done. If you just want a blank shikishi, this isn't the way to get one lol.
I have a limited number of them so if you're interested in being part of the project (don't worry I'll take lots of pics!) please leave me a comment as soon as you know if you wanna do one! (screened comments!)
