So, yeah, the job thing
I called my old boss to make sure the temp service woman, Marilyn, called for a reference. She did. Then I called the temp agency to "check that everything was okay" with my application and interview, that my credit check and reference checks worked out. They did, but they're just waiting for somewhere to place me. It's been two weeks, so not a really long time, but long to me as broke as I am.
