Between Chores, I Typed This
Only a quick update today, since I literally have tons of things to do.
1) Tonight is our quarterly bid at the bus company for runs, something which is unremarkable in the sense that I'm going to go ahead and do what I always do: take the extra board and then fill temporarily vacated runs as they come down the pike. What is noteworthy about this particular signup is the fact that for the first time, there are runs available that already have weekends off, and not just extra board slots. Things really are getting better all the time.
2) I have made a major breakthrough on Underworld, which means that, massive stroke or something equally unfortunate aside, I hope to have the novel done by the time November rolls around. This is very important, because...
3) I plan on doing National Novel Writing Month this year (NaNoWriMo for short) and that means that November's blog entries will be few and far between. However, I already have the plot of the work I'm going to attempt during those thirty days and thirty nights set down... in fact, it's one that
emilia_romagna might recall as being...
