Hey, since I've been so damned busy lately, how about a photo post? Yeah? Great! Then with some Beatles playing in the background, here's a few more glances into the life of Your Number One Contender. More original posts will come this week... and I'm still nicotine-free. 23 days and counting, bay-bee. Yeah!

First of all, since I've been off-line all week, I've been doing a lot of cleaning. This is what happens when I try to do five things at once. Adult ADD is quite lame.

Lady Jade has been painting one of our rooms, and this makes Marcus the backup kitty amazed when he gets into the room and is surrounded by his favorite food... plastic. As you can see here, he doesn't know what to do with himself.

Another thing that has been happening is the cleaning of our horrible pool. Here is the biohazard sludge before...

...and what you'll see if you come over now. It would be nice if I could claim any credit for this whatsoever, but this is all Lady Jade, so all due props to her.

When running errands, it's nice to have something comfortable to roll in. Behold the mighty Dodge Ram 1500, freshly washed and ready... well, to go to the store and get groceries. Just call me Mister Excitement!

Lastly, with all this free time, I've been trying to decide on a new look since I'm 32 now and no longer a hot-blooded Gen X punk rocker. What do you think? Too pretentious, too nerdy, or just right?
