Glory Be!
In less than a week--in fact, four days by my count--my wife and I will be on vacation. We're going up to North Lake Tahoe to patronize our timeshare, featuring a cabin within stone's throw of the shores of Lake Tahoe itself and, more importantly, just the two of us. Four days with all the books, DVDs, music, hiking, video games and relaxation we can stomach.
I have also decided that the project I am going to work on during this trip is going to be finishing off Dead of Winter, because I am currently four (maybe five) chapters from the end, and it really makes no sense not to at the very least complete the story. So this week I'll keep working on my edits to Underworld so I can possibly send it off to Oklahoma Jessica before the repast starts.
The main thing I'm looking forward to? Not getting up at four-forty-fucking-five in the goddamn morning to go to work for eight glorious days.
