Finally went to see it (there might come a day when we're not late to the party).
I'd been like, "Yeah, yeah, whatever, suuure it's good" when I heard all the hype, but it so lived up to it. I "enjoyed myself" the "whole time". Hahaha, /that. Seriously, it was an awesome movie. It was fun, like going on a ride at Universal or something. Also, Jamie blames me for Heath Ledger's death because before he died I said I hated him and I wished he was dead because Brokeback Mountain sucked, but he was positively fabulous as the Joker and now I feel bad (for killing him). I also loved Aaron Eckhart as poor Harvey Dent (his portrayal had me going aww :(:(:( the whole movie), and Christian Bale of course, even though I didn't like his "deep voice Batman" thing. And Bruce/Harvey OTP where is the fanfic. (UFO)<<
- I loved the Joker's disappearing pencil trick, and all his little gimmicks really. I especially loved how he acted in the nurse's outfit, haha. And I laughed so hard at him messing with the detonator to finish blowing up the hospital.
Ah, I feel so bad for Bruce. All those shots of the city and skyscrapers, and then lil ol' him standin' up there all alone, just really drove home the point that he's just a dude. Which, of course, is why he's my favorite superhero. Though I suppose him being a hot, billionaire dude, with cool cars and gadgets, helps. *twiddles thumbs* Shh, I am only woman.
Anyway. I have to go see it again while it's still in theaters.
