Going around changing my age on all my profiles to TWENTY SEVEN. *reaches out and strokes 30* So close, yet so far.

HOW AWESOME WAS CHRISTMAS THIS YEAR. After presents, we went to see the 10 a.m. showing of Sherlock Holmes and the city was practically deserted; it was overcast but warm and just the perfect visage of a zombie apocalypse, let me tell you. Anyway, I loved the movie and I have to see it again. RDJ and Jude Law were fantastic together, and I liked Rachel McAdams too. The viral game tied in with it excellently, so I think people who wanted a mystery are missing out if they didn't play it. Haters gonna hate, I guess. I've read The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes and The Memoirs of Sherlock Holmes and the movie was everything I could've hoped for. Anyhow, the preview for Iron Man 2 looked so good damn it. On the way home we were at a red light next to a truck with the window cracked a little, and this middle-aged dude was smoking the strongest nugs, whoa. Hey, chief, it's Christmas, pass the dutchie on the left hand side (we were in the left turn lane, hey-oooooh!). Then we sang along to Xanadu some because it was on the college radio station I DON'T EVEN KNOW.

The past few days I've been planning our annual summer road trip. Jamie got me an awesome directory of haunted places, which has added to our itinerary. It's neat that a lot of the places in there are in books or on sites I looked at for our original trip. Ghost research: you're doing it right. And now that we have a GPS it should be easier to find some of this stuff without getting murdered out in the woods somewhere. A+
