OH GOD HOW BORING WAS THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE MOVIE. It was the worst one yet. TALKING, TALKING, WALKING AROUND, TALKING. Anti-climatic URGH. I am disappoint.
Finished season one of True Blood and am now caught up with season two. What a bucket of lulz. Watching it though I realized I HAVE READ THIS. Like eight years ago though, so I don't remember it too well. Jamie tells me they're changing a lot of the story, so with nothing better to do I am re-reading the books.
HARPER'S ISLAND. Finally saw it all so now I have to write fifty pages about it. I guessed the killer in episode 6 and I was RIGHT.
At first I was like wtflol did a whole bunch of killers just decide to show themselves on this island. The motives and MO's were all over the place. Then they was like oh hey Wakefield might not be dead, so I was like ok it is him but he gots an accomplice cuz shit is too crazy.
I suspected Shane first, but Henry kept drawing attention to himself by directing blame at J.D. (I never suspected J.D. because it would be too obvious, and I also wondered what could possibly fuck J.D. up so badly [say, living with Henry?]), and Henry was just too cool with digging up that body in episode 6. THIS ISN'T SUPERNATURAL, HENRY. You shouldn't be so good at this.
THE WHOLE SHOW I WAS LIKE PLEASE, PLEASE DON'T LET CAL DIE. I wasn't so sure about he and Chloe at first, but when she pulled that stunt to help him get her engagement ring back I was like OTP FOR LIFE. Which they were, because their death was epic. GTFO Romeo and Juliet. I had tearz, ok. At this point I was like WELL JIMMY AND ABBY AND SULLY AND DANNY BETTER NOT DIE THEY ARE ALL I HAVE LEFT.
Then Trish's sister went and found Jimmy's arrest record (c'mon, he hangs out on the docks and with Shane, of course he's going to have a jacket) and I knew show was trying to red herring him as Wakefield's son and accomplice. HELL NAW. Then they showed all this ambiguous stuff he did and I was like god DAMN it, if they kill Jimmy during this motherfucker I WILL BE PISSED FOR LIFE.
And then in the finale they make it look like he was shot and died in the church, and I was like >:O he didn't even get his death shown and he is a major character fuck that.
Oh wait I also have other deaths to mention.
SHANE. DAMN IT I hated that he died after redeeming himself by buying time for everyone to escape. ESPECIALLY SINCE HIS DEATH WAS COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY. Wakefield had a knife thing and Trish had a gun. IT ISN'T EXACTLY ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS. Gun beats knife, the end.
DANNY. :( I DID NOT WANT DANNY TO DIE HE WAS HOT AND SWEET AND I LOVED HIS HAIR. I think he had the best "fighting back" death though, so I was proud of him for that.
TRISH. The minute she put on her wedding dress I was like WELL YOU AREN'T GOING ANYWHERE IN IT. You don't just put on a wedding dress and live, ok. And sho nuff, Henry kills her in her fucking wedding dress, while she is clutching his arm with her engagement ring on. FUCKED. UP.
SULLY. :( I loved hated how unquestioningly Sully trusted Henry as they were walking along, Henry earnestly confiding the killer's whole motive to Sully's cringing dismissal, all the while it being obvious Henry took the shells out of Sully's gun. :( Though it was about time they explained the money on the boat. HENRY YOU ARE SUCH AN ASSHOLE I SWEAR.
When Abby escaped Henry's chateau de amour for a hot minute and saw Jimmy alive, I was SO BEYOND HAPPY YOU DON'T KNOW. I was like GOOD, NOW STAY THAT WAY. (Alive.) After he provided the assist on the cliff though I have no idea how he didn't crack his skull and die on those rocks, or how Henry was just up walking around like it weren't no thang.
Anyway. I was sooooooooooooooooooooooo happy that Jimmy and Abby got away together. I was like ;-; a little, tbh. I'm glad he still loves her and isn't like GET AWAY FROM ME YOU SILLY BITCH THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT. ♥
ONE THING IS NAGGING ME THOUGH AND IT IS WHERE THE FUCK DID GIGI (THE POOR LITTLE WHITE DOG) GO.
OH ALSO we finally got the refund for the PS3, but they didn't have the Little Big Planet/Wall-E bundle at our local Best Buy so I had to order it online. }:/ The 80GB PS3 is $100 cheaper than what we paid for our 60GB PS3 though, so a new 2 year warranty and expedited shipping were practically free. My credit card was charged ~$1.74~. $1.74 FOR A NEW PS3 THAT IS FUCKING ROBBERY! FFFFFFFFF!
