Wish my tablet would get here. It's stuck in Portland because I have a bad habit of ordering things on Fridays and/or before holidays. G'uuuhhhhgh.
Had my interview on Monday. Was pretty uneventful. Basically involved the manager telling me what the job entailed, and me nodding my head and agreeing. I'll know by the 5th whether or not I got it.
I watched the New Year's celebration in Seattle on NWCN.com last night ... I don't even know why I bother anymore. The hosts are all spazzclowns. "DurHURR! In China they eat CABBAGE on New Year's! =D WHO WANTS A CABBAGE?? DUH-HUH!" And whoever put together the music for the fireworks show is apparently schizophrenic. This year's theme was MOVIES. As in, ANY movie. Star Wars, Wizard of Oz, E.T., Beauty and the Beast, movie themes from every genre imaginable, all chopped to pieces and spliced together seemingly at random, a cacaphony of noise that lasted eight agonizing minutes. I guess you're supposed to be too drunk to notice or care. Oh well.
But at last! December is finally over! Now I have a legitimate excuse to hunt down and destroy any advertiser who insists on continuing to base their commercials around "the holidays"! =D
