[jerks awake from a nightmare, sweat dripping from his forehead. He wipes off his upper lip, struggling to quiet his breathing & calm his heart]
It was just a dream...
[flops back down in bed with a heavy sigh, before sitting right back up at the sound of Fay's whining from down the hall]
Dean?
[stumbles out of bed & to his brother's room. An empty bed greets his sleep blurry eyes, Fay sitting at the foot, crying for all she's worth]
H-he's gone...
[collapses onto his brother's bed, a tear running down his cheek that he swipes at angrily]
