traditional cambodian engagement parties...
i had to go to one yesterday.. zomgosh.. i hate them.. there a number of reasons y i detest being apart of them:
-loud irritating khmer karaoke
-backyard party under shed stuck with so many ppl.. the heat is no fun
-ppl judging me cos i`m never dressed appropriately for these things
-long boring *nothing to do-ness poke a stick at a dead bird* periods...
-had to arrive early bcos my dad was the host
-dn`t knw many ppl.. is loner bum... ._.
i respect the tradition and all.. but if i ever had a wedding.. i wudn`t want a traditional khmer one.. my ideal engagement party wud include.. a big open space with heaps of friends n family, everyone cud happily converse with, without ne grudges.. (i think that`s one of the reasons my mum didn`t go yesterday) n heaps of fun & games!!! for everyone to do.. n not b bored.. with heaps of food and of course alchi!.. *vodka fanatic*.(i want a pool filled with vodka rofl).. evrything wud b joyful so.. it would b a fun & memorable celebration. *^____^* ... i`m not quite a fan of tradition.. (((~;_;)~
the best part of the party was prolly wen i was talking to this kid.. he look`d 3 but sed he was apparently 7.. so newaiiz.. he was *educating* me!! rofl.. about cars.. cos i`m totally clueless about them.. he xplain`d to me wat a v6 was.. cos his car was a v6 (his dad`z car) telling me that it meant the car had 6 cylinders which gave it that amount of power.. v8, v12,, etc... ahahaaha.. n he also xplained to me that turbo gave the car more speed.. sugoi.. ;__; i`m such a n00b.. rofl
u knw... i wasn`t even thinking of going to the party.. but lauphi txt`d me n sed he`d b all alone.. so i figured i shudn`t leave him all emo n misserable.. so i dragged my lazy ass there.. my parents told me off for dressing in such a daggy unpleasant attire to such an event.. but i xplained.. that no1 wud care newaiiz.. cos they already think i`m a retard.. wat`z the point in materialising myslef into something they will 4ever brush their noses off.. so yer watever.. rofl.. my hair was a mess..
i `m such a naughty girl.. i scabb`d raspberry flav`d vodka cruiser behind the church pplz backs.. rofl.. but it wasn`t worth it.. didn`t taste that gr8... was lyk red-mediciney puke soda.. ~_~
