summary....
Alright, so the damage isn't nearly as bad as first expected.
I lucked out, and was hit by one of the flat sides of the hatchet, and as a result, have....
-A Large pressure cut that may or may not have split through muscle, and required stiches to close.
- A portion of my neck is just one giant patch of black and blue.
- Some form of concussion, so I have no balance and trouble speaking/walking/functioning.
I think that roughly sums up the physical damage.... boy, did I get off lucky
