Birthday swag
As always, my birthday falls in the last week of October, just as it does for loads of other people (two coworkers, two friends, a few family members). I don't know what happens during the end of January. I'm guessing people get cold.
This year, I decided to not celebrate my birthday and instead, finally be able to visit everybody else's. Which came with an additional bonus: I received gifts on other people's parties! ("Btw, Lonneke since it was your birthday as well, here's a little something"). So top tip for the future: I don't need to celebrate my birthday, I just need to visit birthday parties shortly after 26 October.
My parents still decided to quickly visit me (and I immediately bought loads amount of food in record-short time) and that is where most of the bday loot came from.
In the end, the bounty was as follows:
