Xmas update

Christmas actually ended up being pretty good. Spent most of it w/ the Squeezypet fambly, with minimal bloodshed. As for my tree... I bought a new one on Xmas Eve eve. You know those pre-lit wire trees that are meant to be yard ornaments? Well they were only $25 at K-Mart. I friggin love it! You'd be amazed at how many ornaments you can cram

LOL I say leave it up as long as you want, I keep my Halloween decorations up year round :)

Thanks! I coveted that peacock for years at the Germany pavilion at Epcot, but never felt like coughing up the $20 to buy one. Then I found it (and the swan) at Tuesday Morning last year for $4. Woot!

Yeah, our Hallowe'en decorations are up all year, too... but I still feel kindof traditional about the Xmas decorations & don't want them up all the time. Plus, I'm considering having a b-day party (my b-day is the 11th), & I don't trust drunk people around all that precariously-displayed glass. ;}

So I took the tree down yesterday. :D

Cool! I love all your ornaments. I have a lot of funky ornaments too. Like a crystaline Energizer bunny I got with a pack of batteries and a pig with a big blue bow around his middle. My stuff is packed away now, maybe pictures next year.

That is an exceptionally pretty tree.

I hear ya about the tree-putting-away...last year we didn't pack it away until spring.
