(no subject)
For those that wonder: we're all fine... mostly I just haven't been feeling much like posting.
One of our weezils (Zilla) is adrenal. We can't afford the $800 for surgery right now, so we were going to get a melatonin implant (a little less than $200) to buy some time to save up money. Turns out that the vet ran out of implants ( o_O ), so we opted for a Lupron shot, instead. That should still fix her up for a couple months, at least... but I'm a little disapointed that the vet couldn't manage his inventory a little better, or at least call us before we came in so we could reschedule (without the whole "boxing up the weezes & driving to the vet" production).
But whatever... Zilla is doing well, & she should start growing her hair back any day now. :}
Other points of interest:
I have my own roller skates, now, so it's imperative that I go skating this Sunday night! Who wants to go? For those who haven't been, it's right behind Rocky's Replay on 436, it costs $6.50 (which includes skate rental... inline skates are extra), & is an awful lot of wacky fun. C'mon... y'know you want to!
Also, I just started a web forum for my paltry Guild Wars guild. I'd be much obliged if anyone wandered over & posted some stuff, even if you don't play Guild Wars. Forums are just so sad when they're just starting out, y'know? http://www.alicebang.com/phpBB2
