Tonight I embarked on what will probably be my last downtown adventure for a long time. The occasion? My international law exam.
The exam was ok. I'm fairly confident but not excited or anything. The sound of so many people shifting papers for the entire 3 hour open book exam though - awful! Luckily I had random salsa music playing in my head from studying the last few days to help me cut the noise out.
On my way down I ran into someone I knew coming out of the subway car at Kennedy that I knew, and then when the train stopped there was someone else I knew in the car beside mine. On the way back, there was a group of very loud and giggly Portuguese women. Then, on the bus a woman got on wearing an outfit from an era in the past.. a blue formal looking skirt suit thing with one of those fancy hats that sits on top of your hair with netting and puffy detailing. Lastly, I was sitting beside the door and on his way out a man whispered something in my ear. I don't know exactly what he said but it had the F word in it and I could smell alcohol on his breath. *shivers* If only I had ended with a nicer story... People watching, a fantastic Toronto sport. haha
Oh, and one exam to go!
