I had a dream I was in the south of Oregon-heh, in Paisley, no less-with my dad and my brother and my young cousin, a four or five year old girl belonging to my Uncle Gary's family (this cousin does not actually exist). We were getting ready to drive back up to Portland where my brother and I would be returned to our mother, when wee!cousin ( Read more... )

That sounds scary. :( I've never had dreams about losing things (that I can remember). Usually, I'm being chased or running away from something. Not sure what that says about me, heh. Funnily enough, I had a nightmare last night, too.

I dreamed I was in a city with my parents. We were lost, and my Dad kept driving us into gay clubs (yes, in the car, I have no idea what my brain was thinking). Which would've been hilarious if it wasn't for the fact that we were so lost. It was by the sea and there was this weird Doctor-Who-esque swirly thing actually in the sea that looked really pretty as we looked back at it. Then we got out of the car and things went downhill. I got separated from my parents and went into a public toilet because someone threw their drink (or something) at me and it got in my hair, so I was trying to wash it out. This kind lady came over and offered me help, but she said I had to sign a prescription first (IDK, I think she was going to give me painkillers or something?). I signed, asking her friends to keep an eye out for my parents, and she pulled out this towel to dry my hair on. Then I started to leave, but she wouldn't let me go. So, not so nice. I got out of the public toilet and found my parents, but the lady started kicking up a fuss that I'd signed my life away to her (on the prescription thing) and I was now legally her slave. Which was terrifying, because I knew I had signed it and I'd done so willingly, so ... Yeah. Anyway. My dad stood up to them and me and Mum ran away, but I had this horrible feeling that they were going to kill my Dad and then my Mum if they found us. And we were still lost, the whole time, and running through this city at night like crazy people. Thankfully, I then woke up. :/

Even weirder, I had another dream (prior to the scary one) in which I got to hug Simon Pegg for ages. So that makes up for it a bit. I still don't quite trust my subconscious, though ...

Apologies for offloading my nightmares onto you. I'm guessing that wasn't what you were going for when you made this post. It just seemed a strange coincidence that I'd had a nightmare too, especially since I hardly ever remember dreams.

Ooh, that dream sounds way unpleasant! D:

...But the Simon Pegg one sounds nice! I WANT THAT, WHY NOT ME?

Psshh, I wasn't going for anything in particular, I just woke up with the dream still in my head and felt the urge to share. By all means, unload, if you've got the same urge!
