Martin Freeman reminds me of John Simm too! It's really weird; for a moment in the opening, I thought it was John Simm (because, to me, a drama series seems more John Simm's thing than Martin Freeman's ...). They totally as secret brothers. :P
I KNOW THE THREE EPISODES THING MAKES ME WANT TO CRY! But - the BBC have commissioned another series! Hurrah! :D
Holmes is as flamingly gay as a tree full of fruit bats on fire, yes. *nods* I love the fact that practically everyone (Mrs Hudson, Mycroft, the restaurant guy ...) just sort of assumes that Holmes and Watson are a couple. Hee~! This awesome is only surpassed by the fact that they practically are. Ah, Moffat. <3
You know, I didn't see the similarities with the Doctor the first time I watched the show, but now that I've seen it again, I totally do. :P (You know what? It took me an embarassingly long time to realise that "We're doing a special on television faults in this area. ALSO CRIMES." if from Doctor Who. Fail. D: )
I think the whole world and their dog knew it was the cabbie. :/ Except Holmes, of course. I'm guessing (hoping!) that Moffat was easing his audience in, making us feel clever and then he can whip all that away in the next two eps. Fingers crossed, anyway!
