I refuse to let my weekend be over.
Today Lauren and I went to see Moon. It's fabulous. Really solid performance by Sam Rockwell, like, holy crap that guy did a great job. And <3 Kevin Spacey, GERTY was amazing~ and omg so adorable. ...Why are the robots always the best characters? And Matt Berry was in it. He was an obnoxious boss again, lol. Type casting? Anyway, fabulous story, really subtle and touching and beautiful, and Clint Mansell did the music so of course I wanted to lick the soundtrack. ...Also, IMDB says it was shot in 33 days. ...Awesome!
Also before we went in, we were standing on the street corner and I was eating my sweet and sour chicken pizza and ART ALEXAKIS WALKED BY. I kind of looked at him, made eye contact, looked away, was like, "HOLY CRAP THAT'S ART ALEXAKIS!!", looked back to make sure that was him, looked away again, internally flailed about what to do, and ultimately decided to pretend I didn't recognize him. Because I'm lame and shy like that. ...I didn't want to inconvenience him! He looked like he was in a hurry! Anyway, it was exciting enough just to see him. I mean, I know he lives in Portland and all, but HE WALKED RIGHT BY ME. I could've done a flying leap and tackled him if I wanted to. ...Not that I would've, I mean why would I do that how could you think such a thing. >>;;
