Doctor WHERE?

Oct 01, 2011 19:03

Just watched Doctor Who finale. Not much I can say, because, spoilers. But two things:

- WOW basically I was wrong about EVERYTHING, EVER, nothing happened like I predicted, but basically that is because Moffat CHEATS.

- Wat. WAT. ...WAT.

That is all.

...No okay three things: the answer had better be a damned good oneOkay four things RORY ( Read more... )

I actually actively avoided seeing last week's ep, because I FUCKING HATE IT when it's a two-parter and they make us wait for the conclusion a whole week. AND NOW I AM DREADING WATCHING THEM based on people's reactions to this one. D: D:

Two-parter? *blink* It was definitely not in any way a two-parter. Where'd you get that idea?

I didn't, like, hate it or anything, and in fact there was some pretty cool stuff in it, but a lot of it was kind of... baffling. Like... actually I sort of wish it was a two-parter, so they'd have more time to set things up. It was like, "CRAZY STUFF OUT OF NOWHERE oh, and, we fixed it. See you next season! :D"

Well, so far almost every season we've had a two-parter for a final -- or if not a two-parter, then CRAZY SHIT happening in ep. 12 and some sort of resolution in ep. 13. So I kind of--assumed that's what they did again? YOU KNOW, AS YOU DO.

hfgjsfhg As soon as I'm done with work I AM DOWNLOADING AND WATCHING.

Yeahno, the eps were completely separate, I mean, it references his approaching date with death, because it weighs very heavily on his mind, obviously, but other than that... no overarching plot occurs, and the plots are not in any way related. ...As I said, I kinda wish they'd done it the usual way, suspense or no... it just... didn't have the same kind of epic finale feel as usual. I think stretching it out a bit would have been an improvement, considering the content.

I HAVE NOW WATCHED IT, AND IT IS FABULOUS. GAH, MOFFAT, YOU ARE TERRIBLE/WONDERFUL AND I HATE/LOVE YOU. D:/:D That was a nifty decision! I always knew he'd find a way to dodge it somehow, though. AND I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO THE ANSWER TO THAT QUESTION, OH YES.

BUT BUT WHAT HAPPENS WITH THE SILENCE NOW?? HOW WERE THEY IN THE FUTURE TO FIND RIVER IF THE WHOLE WORLD WAS KILLING THEM?? DAMN YOU, MOFF.

ALSO RORY YOU ARE THE COOLEST EVER AND MY FAVOURITE. <3

Well, obviously he wasn't going to permanently kill off the title character. I'm still kinda disappointed my whole Flesh!Doctor theory didn't pan out. I think it was better than what actually happened, but whatevs.

I think basically for their own good they evacuated Earth, but they were still at large in the rest of the universe. They'd be safe around people that didn't have reason to watch Neil Armstrong stomp around on the Moon.

RORY. OHMIGOD RORY. ALSHGSLHFKSJSHLKAJSDLF. THE THINGS I WOULD DO TO YOU IF AMY WOULDN'T MURDER ME HORRIBLY.

HI HI HI, answering all of your comments on all of my posts AT ONE TIME, like a boss.

-Dude it is like ALL MAN WITHOUT WAX, ALL THE TIME all up in my iTunes right now. "Smooth Moons" and "He's A Wrecking Machine!!!" definitely emerged as top favorites, those songs are SO FUCKING SEXY, OH MY GOD.

-Duuuuuuuude SPN is off to a really intense start, liek holy shit ohmigawd, wow. INTENSE.

-I'm all caught up on Grey's, too, now, ALSO HIGH-QUALITY STUFF. Next on to-do list is Schmoopy Vampires.

-Wah, Skype, no can do, sorry. ;_; Folk dance tonight, whee! And tomorrow night is dinner and booze and possibly karaoke with coworkers in Volcano, and Friday is one of my required Be Productive For At Least Six Hours Like A Responsible Adult OR ELSE days so uhhhhhhh maybe Friday night at the earliest? Dude, I didn't mean RIGHT FUCKING NOW, no worries. I'm off class til next Wednesday and all I have planned is ALL OF THE HOMEWORK, so no worries. Whenever. Lemme know.

AHAHAHAHAHH I KNEW IT. I KNEW THIS WOULD HAPPEN IF I WAS ONLY PATIENT. He's A Wrecking Machine!!! is my JAM. Well no, Adam and Evil is my jam, but you know what I mean. After I got the call about the internship this morning (see post I just made), I did my VICTORY DANCE™ to that song around the kitchen. It's really fucking fulfilling. Also, I need to start keeping tally of all the accidents I almost get into doing the clapping bridge from Seek No Asylum over my steering wheel. For srs. Smooth Moons is gorgeous and it's my one-stop shop for reminding myself that Spencer Mertel is awesome, even if it is kinda way longer than it needs to be for the content-to-chorus ratio. Run, though. Man. Idek. Just sort of quality-wise that's their tightest track off the new stuff. Shit, okay, I can talk about this FOREVER so I'mma stfu for rn ( ... )

"Adam and Evil" is I think my third fave. Is "Run" the one we listened to online that we don't have an mp3 for yet? I should give that one another listen-to... where is that again?

I reiterate... first two eps of Supernatural: SO INTENSE. ...I'm two eps into Vampires now, a;dhklshkdlfsklsjkdfs ALLOW ME TO FLAIL AT YOU.

-HOW MUCH do I did I love Damon and his human girlfriend? (*sob!*) HOW MUCH do I love Damon and Alaric's epic bromance? HOW MUCH do I now remember Damon looks like sex incarnate stalking around all in black clothes that fit him really well or sometimes no clothes, that works too (even if I think his hair needs a trim, sorry hon, looking a little goofy on the back of your neck there), ohmigod Ian Somerhalder aslkhgslghaslhfkjkfsfjkls? HOW MUCH do I love Damon, just in general? I WILL GIVE YOU A HINT, ALL OF THESE QUESTIONS HAVE THE SAME ANSWER.

-Klaus, honey, where do you get lipstick in that fabulous shade~? (Although really I can't complain, it calls attention to his mouth and goddamn that man's mouth, ( ... )
