The sun finally made an appearance today, and a few of the tightly furled rosebuds that I've been waiting on to bloom since Sunday, finally unclenched.
This one in particular.
With several more waiting in the shadows.
Seriously, the Blue Castling-ing of this rosebush has made it come out in crazy buds. Some day soon it's just going to explode with blossoms.
As you can see, the peonies are still going strong, with many heads ready to open. I've taken quite a few blooms off, just to give the up and coming ones room and light. To the left, you can see yet another bud-laden branch from the rosebush, which resides right behind the peonies.
