I bought a couple of baguettes there the other day, they weren't quite the same as in VN, but good anyway. I'll have to try their ca phe, as I saw they make it VN style. I was all excited to speak Vietnamese there, and the woman who owns the place happily obliged.

And yes, of course, I was on my way to Harvesttime!

Which reminds me... I don't know how many VNese are in Chicago, but if you need to scratch a VN itch, tell me -- I figure if it's VNese and can't be got within 10 km of my office, it can't be got in the U.S.

Probably about the only thing I'd be jonesing for would be hu tieu -- and it's not like you can ship that. Heh.
