At this point, this is still kind of fun.
I have two boxes of shoes and boots!
I had thought I'd have to buy socks, nooooo, I've got a big old box of sox!
And a box of handbags! Oh hello my lovely red patent leather handbag, oh how I missed you.
My buttery yellow Kitchen Aid mixer -- my Precious Part II.
Found and embraced my feather pillows last night, my lord how my head a neck have missed those.
seriouspenguin had repacked a number of things, basically all the stuff I'll be taking down to the new place in this first trip, so it's pretty easy so far. As long as My Awesome Dad is able to help with the move on Sunday, I shouldn't have to make any hard decisions on what kitchen/bedroom/clothing stuff to take. 98% of the books and my few bits of furniture will be another trip at some future date, when we can get our hands on the trailer and someone else to drive it.
Also, when I walked in the door yesterday afternoon,
seriouspenguin pointed to the gardening table in the sunroom and said, "And here's your housewarming present." She got and potted rosemary, thyme, and basil for my own sunroom down in Chicago to start my herb garden! Which, as I said earlier, is one thing I really want to get going for my kitchen. She picked the top three herbs I needed too.
Is
seriouspenguin awesome? Let us count the ways...
