Okay, now I'm in Brooklyn!
oy_squad fetched us some pizza and wine and I've got my, yes, swollen feets up. Other than the feets, the trip was good. I made a new friend who I hung out with in Narita, water pressure in a Japanese shower will throw you against the wall, I think they drug the food on long haul flights so that everything is quiet during the latter half, and customs was a breeze. Oh and
sugar-stack I ididn't see any "welcome to America" sign anywhere in the airport.
And yes, everything seems so big here. Cars, streets, people! Where are the motorbikes? Why can't we drive on the sidewalks?
I still feel very weird and disoriented, only now moreso that I've been mostly awake for the past 36 hours. I miss the Pook (and my robe smelled of him when I brought it out of the bag) and I still can't quite believe that a) was just in HCM City the other day, and b) that I'm won't wake up there tomorrow.
