Persona 4 Replay: Everything old is new again.
I find it interesting that a character who theoretically does not have access to TV Land is able to extrapolate from two incidents that the Inaba murders always occur on foggy days.
Also, the scenes that show the newswoman being attacked and thrown into the TV are that much creepier if you've played the game and know what actually happened.
I had forgotten how full of fail Yosuke and Chie started out with - hey, thanks for running around like headless chickens and knocking the three of us into the TV! *facepalm* On the other hand, I could have just pulled my head back out of the TV. Then again, that would have interfered with the plot.
Speaking of which, the solid week or so (in-game) of cutscenes and scripted events still rankles; however, tearing through Yukiko's Castle on the first day it was fully accessible was immensely satisfying (Black Frost and Anubis for the win). I was tempted to buy back Yoshitsune, but a) I need the space for other personae to get Social Link bonuses; and b) he would have broken the game that much more. As it was, taking my Anubis with Repel Physical into battle against the Avenger Knight that pretty much only used physical attacks was a recipe for hilarity. He killed himself.
(Sadly, the boss version of the Avenger Knight does not have the same weakness to Anubis' Hama spells that the regular non-boss Avenger Knights have, which would have made the fight that much shorter and provided further hilarity.)
I wound up going with basketball for the Strength S. Link again - I probably should have tried soccer this time - but I'm still trying to decide what to do about Sun. The Drama Club version of the Sun S. Link is kind of painful for various personal reasons, but the Music Club S. Link character looks so incredibly creepy. I'm also going to try to finish Devil early, since my Knowledge stat is maxed out from the last game and I no longer need to study. I wish I could start Empress - I have the stats for it - but Margaret is playing coy.
I need Persona-specific icons. If I could just find the art I'm looking for at a manageable size...
