So... wait. In two days my grandfathered Basic account will essentially become a Plus Minus account? Thanks ever so, Livejournal.
You could at least increase the number of icons if you're going to force ads onto the thing, LJ. I mean, geez.
Even though I won't see the ads myself, I really don't like the idea. This is because I don't trust Livejournal to properly vet ads to guard against things like hidden malware, seizure-inducing animated ads, or completely inappropriate ad content. Not because I think they're malicious - I just don't think they're that diligent/competent. This would, actually, be the reason my account IS Basic rather than Plus/Sponsored in the first place.
