Saturday nights might be alright for fighting, but Friday nights are perfect for partying

Last night was the best cast party I've ever been to! Previous best was when I was thirteen, after 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' our teacher had us over to her house for a barbeque and things devolved into a water fight between fifteen teenagers.

This cast is full of twenty somethings and a few older returning students/local actors that know our director. Director did have us over to his house, and he did barbeque for us, but then we went into his awesome movie theater room and watched a recording of our play; we may have watched each other all the time during practices, but we never got to see the special effects and all the costumes together at once, so it was pretty cool to finally see all of our work come together as a whole. We still went all MST3K on it and at each other, all in good fun since we also quoted lines and sang along together.

When we moved back outside, instead of having a water fight we lit a bonfire! And one of the mortals is a fire dancer, and she "just happened" to have brought her poi along, so she gave us a dance. Then we just sat around the fire and talked, of everything and nothing, quoted other plays and sang, both Disney and Rocky Horror songs. The party was supposed to run to 10 o'clock, but it was still going strong when Dad dragged me home at 11 o'clock.

We all had so much fun together that we're going to have another party together to celebrate the end of finals in two weeks!
