Mr. Knox is one of my online friends from Australia, so this is very amusing. He's legally blind, and was blinded by a laser rangefinder in a training accident during his short lived Australian Army career.
Just as a note; no, he does not intend to actually drive. He values lives (his own, and that of others) too much for that. He also happens to be one of the funniest priests I know. He's prone to say lots of things that you would never expect a priest to say. I'm glad to know him.
