My friends got to see me geek out and inspect all of those aircraft close up. I got to inspect the more modern of those aircraft even closer up, including doing much up close and personal inspection of the A-10 Warthogs that they had there. I think that my friends that went with me were slightly annoyed at how much that I was geeking out about the aircraft (and how much that I knew about them, which is a lot), but I don't care in the slightest.
There was also a blood donation RV there from the Red Cross, so I donated blood; as I haven't done so since July of last year. Good to know that they still LOVE my O+ blood.
But anyway, the only sore point of the day was that my friends wanted to leave the airshow so damn early! I wasn't done inspecting the aircraft to my satisfaction yet, damnit! Oh well, such is life, right? Although, my friends did jokingly suggest that we steal one of the inert Sidewinder AAMs that some of the aircraft were carrying. That was funny, considering that we'd never do that.
