I'm feeling a little better, now. When I came in to work the next day, my co-workers threw me a "chocolate" party to make me feel better. They are really awesome. I'm getting Adam to try to repeat me with some words! They really don't sound anything like the word, but so far, he's said grandpa (dada), please (eese), stop (op), and his favorite- which he even says correctly, "hi". He proudly says hi to us every morning with a big grin on his face.

I had my interview at the Deaf School yesterday. When I walked in, there was a table with 6 people waiting to interview me! They went around in a circle, asking me questions. Talk about intimidating! Two of them were deaf, and there was an interpreter for them. You never know how many times you say, "um" until someone is translating every time you ( Read more... )
