♥ Sorry I've been so absent lately. Something about being effectively away from the computer for a month makes it super hard to come back. I'm trying! I'm around on messengers and stuff, I'm just not updating.
♥ Saw Takeru's True Horror special last night! His segment was only about 12 minutes long, but it was the scariest of the bunch. Now I just want to see him in real horror. It's a genre that's missing in his filmography.
♥ On the subject of Takeru, would you all still like me to do a writeup of The Game? I know it's been a while, but I'd be glad to still do it if people want to read it ^^
♥ I'll probably never do a full writeup of the KAT-TUN show, so I'll just say here that it was fantastic... and sort of hilarious. Jin is SO over it. When everyone else is dancing, he just STANDS there, and during the MC he tugged on Ueda's shirt and whispered something to him, and while I'm sure the audience would have loved for it to be scandalous, the next thing we know, he and Ueda are sitting on the steps XD Clearly he can not be arsed to stand up for the whole concert anymore. Other than that, our seats were EPIC. First row to the center stage, it's sort of weird being so conspicuous at a JE show, but there you go. Junno totally danced for Amanda, it was adorable. She had his Uchiwa XD
♥ Rent, which I will also not do a full writeup for, was equally awesome. Mostly because Lauren and I have always sort of had Rent in our hearts, and this time we got to see the original 2 leads play their parts. It was surreal. Then after the show, we got to see Anthony Rapp like, 2 feet away as he left the venue, and actually stood and chatted with one of the chorus members. She was so excited to speak English with fans after being in Tokyo for 3 weeks. Just amazing. Could not have asked for more.
♥ Mizushima Hiro and Oguri Shun are doing a buddy cop drama next season! You all have probably heard this by now, but I'm super excited. It should be absolutely REDICULOUS. It's called "Tokyo DOGS" and it'll air on Fuji on Mondays at 9 ^^ Too bad it doesn't look like Takeru or Miura will have anything though, despite rumors that Miura would. Oh well. Maybe Takeru will get another special. He's been doing pretty well.
♥ I've been rewatching Sapuri, only to find that I like it a TON more now that I already know how it ends. I think I just spent the first time worried she was going to pick the wrong guy and ruin my dreams. Also rewatched Nobuta, and it's just as good as ever. Man. It's scarry how easy it is for me to relate to the main characters. I imagine it's like that for everyone.
♥ Rewatching dramas has me thinking about my old favorites, so tell me, which ones do you guys like? If it's something I haven't seen, maybe I'll check it out.
