Fic Archive
It seems I now have enough stories to be worth putting together an archive post for ease of reading. So, below you will be able to find links to all of my work and some information as to the order in which it should be read. Note: all the Firefly fics take place in the same 'verse, which basically means they're all a part of the same larger story.
Also, this journal is purely for 'fic, so feel free to friend it if you want the updates automatically. You won't be swamped with any kind of personal junk, I promise. :)
Firefly
Continuing Series (in order):
Going On - Set immediately post-BDM, this is a Zoe-centric look at the crew picking up the pieces after the events of the movie. Zoe/Wash
Leave of Absence - Again, set post-BDM, but Inara-centric this time. A friend of mine once said she could never ship Mal/Inara because they were too different and too inflexible, and that it would always be doomed so long as neither of them was willing to change. I seem to have taken that as a dare. This story weaves in and around the events of Going On and then takes the story further. Mal/Inara
Absence Makes the Heart - Picks up where Leave of Absence leaves off. Mal doesn't handle loss terribly well. Mal/Inara
Coming Home Part 1, Part 2 & Part 3 - Inara returns to Serenity after four months at the Training House. Mal/Inara
Caveats and Addendums - Picks up where Coming Home leaves off. Mal has something he needs to say. Mal/Inara
Between Two Thieves - The first section comes right after Leave of Absence, and the rest of the story happens just long enough after Caveats and Addendums that the dust has had time to settle somewhat. Inara struggles with coming and going, and Simon is creating a reason to stay. Mal/Inara, Simon/Kaylee
Made to be Broken - Set several weeks after Caveats and Addendums. Mal breaks his own rule. Mal/Inara
Not a Place - Set sometime after Made to be Broken. Calling Serenity home means sometimes things don't go smooth. Mal/Inara
Aftermath part 1 & part 2 - Set shortly after Not a Place. Mal is recovering, but Inara is having trouble letting go. Mal/Inara
After Dinner - Set sometime after Aftermath. Mal and Inara share a quiet moment after dinner. Mal/Inara
Drabbles
A Summer Evening - Set many years before the tv series. A little glimpse of where Inara comes from. Ties in with In the Still of the Night.
Pandemonium Didn't Reign, it Poured - Set during the tv series. The crew gets caught flat-footed. Fun stuff. Dialogue only.
The Morning After - Set during the tail end of the BDM. Mal and Inara survey the damage.
Rubber Gloves - Life goes on in the wake of the events of the movie.
In the Still of the Night - Set during Leave of Absence. Inara has a nightmare and River has some questions. Gen. Ties in with A Summer Evening.
Baby Steps - Set during Leave of Absence. Inara is adjusting to her new life.
First Days - Set after Leave of Absence. Inara's first days back at the Training House.
Practicalities - Set after Caveats and Addendums. Zoe can occasionally be too practical.
Broken Innocence - Post-BDM. Set several years after most of the other stories. The crew suffers a loss. Kaylee/Simon, Mal/Inara
NCIS
Don't Even Think It - Kate has a hobby. Tony finds out.
