New Job Obtained!
I went into VCA, filled out their little peice of paper and now I have a second job. It took like 30 min and that may include my cat food purchase. Then I went to Trader Joe's and changed my availability to 5a - 2p M,W,F, and Sun. I feel better about things already. VCA will be paying me more than TJ's to sit on my ass and do paperwork, or if we are very slow my homework. Win all the way, I think. Using this to procrastinate on my usual approaching-holiday-end-of-semester freak out. I spent hours yesterday doing stats homework, but on the upside, I'm about halfway done with the entire course after about 6-7 hours of work. 3 more assignments and the final before I am finished. Yay! Also, WS is pretty well wrapped up too. I just have to do alright on my final to keep the A I have. The Eng class I'm taking is being more awful but I think after today (if I can make enough cards to complete the assignment) I'm going to write the paper my own way. These note cards are such crap. I keep losing them and not being able to remember why I wrote things. My own messy system of highlighted photocopies with post-it's works so much better and is so much easier to keep track of.
I met some lovely ladies from the Widener Social Work/Sex Education Program and I've been reevaluating what I wanna do and where I wanna go. They make it seem like such a fun place to be, and it's in the city.
There's a Code Party this weekend and I can't wait. I don't even know where it is yet and I'm buzzing with excitement.
