1. If we are alone in the universe - no, probably not. Traveling just to see the landscape does not sound worth it. To expensive and uncomfortable. I don't even like planes, so I can't imagine the likely intergalactic transport to be much more up my alley.
2. If other intelligent life exists - Of course! I expect to find that people are people, and that day to day life is very similar most places you go. For example, I'll bet "office" and "food service" jobs are a universal constant. The great unknown is scary, but as soon as you can identify the commonalities between your experience and another beings, you can see them as just another person, build relationships and learn from each other.
And if that leads to hot alien sex, who am I to complain.
