In my own reflection as an American on this day of the anniversary of our freedom that was won I've come up with this.............
I promise to not let "Terrorism" paralyze me into staying home and being afraid to be in public places. I will live my life with the knowledge that there are men and women who risk life and limb to make it possible for me to gather with friends and family for Today's festivities. I will not forget all those who have stepped up to the plate so many times before in our nations history. There is a saying "The road to hell is paved with good intentions"...Although we may have different views of the current "conflict" in the middle east there is but one undeniable truth we all have been touched by a battle that is going on over hundreds of miles away and the more support we give to those who are there right now we can all pull through this together. I only hope that everyone can be safe and remember what a great country we all live in despite the flaws. Happy fourth of July everyone!
