I think the biggest problem is I'm busting my ass off counting calories and spending 3~4 hours a day in the gym, but I have seen absolutely no results. In fact, the only time I ever see substantial results is when I basically starve myself. It's so frustrating and really kills any drive I have.
Hey, I'm not sure if you want my 2 cents buuttt:
-Don't kill yourself at the gym!!! 3-4 hours?!! I swim for 45 minutes (I could do 50-60 min physically but I swim late after work and I need to go home/get stuff done) and that's it! I think 35-60 minutes a day is plenty. When I was in school, I learned in my health psych class that exercise is not a good thing for losing weight. Exercising helps keep weight off. Therefore, just use it for that. ;)
-How many calories do you eat a day? 1500 is usually good for losing weight but most people find that hard to just do (so maybe start with 1800 and work your way down). But DO NOT starve yourself (and this is coming from the Queen of Starving Herself); anything less than 1000 calories means your body is starving.
-Also, WHAT are you eating? Do you cook? I've found that I'm starting to like cooking but I hate doing it after work/the pool (if I go swimming, I don't get home 'til almost 10) so I've found that I'll cook the night before and then have it in the fridge ready to be popped in the microwave for 2 minutes when I get home. If you cook, then you know exactly what you're eating and how many calories it is and no unwanted calories in extra spices/sauces/etc.
Anyway, good luck with losing weight, I want to lose 5-10 pounds myself (I'm vain -_-) so I'm putting myself on a fruit not chocolate diet and cooking more.
