LJ Etiquette?
Does anyone know what the etiquette is in this situation?
gpfg_studios is a Stargate Atlantis comm that centers around Gay Porn for Girls Studios - where in the idea is that John and Rodney (and various other SGA members) make porn at a studio run by Sam and Vala (If I got that wrong, someone correct me).
I'd like to use the same idea in a different fandom, where in the two male slash leads work for two of teh female characters and it's all at this porn studio. While I know that we all share the same tropes across fandoms, I feel like this one is specific enough that I should request permission/blessing. But the owner of the comm hasn't been active on her LJ since 2009. Do I message? And in the absence of a response, do I consider that to be a 'no'?
