Status update
I never know if anyone cares, but if you do! I've a status update!
I'm currently signed up for three challenges - mcsheplets Still in Love with McShep, 13_fears and scifibigbang
I have two working files that are actively being worked on. My mcsheplets fic which is technically due March 15 (SOB) and Dean/Cas fic which has no deadline but MUST. GET. FINISHED.
The mcsheplets fic is currently sitting at 14570 words. My posting date is teh 15th, but since I fear this fic will climb up to 40000, the mod has graciously given me an extension. I can take up to March 31. I've never had to ask for an extension before in my life.
My Dean/Cas harlequin is at 28121 words. This one... this one might be bigger than I thought. I originally thought it would be 40,000 and now that I'm at 28000 I'm thinking 65000? hopefully? It's my goal to push it out after I finish my SGA fic. If I manage to whip of my SGA fic by March 15, I'll have proved to myself that I can push out a metric fuck ton of words when motivated, so I'll have no excuse not to keep going.
My scifibigbang - rough draft due June 30 and story due July 31. I'm planning a DarkCity/SGA fusion.
I was signed up for the supernova but I just... thought I had a lot of time and didn't get going and then just pffffft.
For Feb, I wanted to write 29000 words. I managed ~16000. Which wasn't great, but was still better than nothing!
and now, enough procrastinating! I've committed to 2 hrs of writing a day and it starts now!
