2012 Is the Year of Change
Generally, I don't like change. I go out of my way to avoid it.
I've been unhappy in my job for four years but my unhappiness didn't outweigh my fear of change, so I stayed, even though I was miserable.
but in September, with the help of pretty much all of my (small) social circle, I decided it was time to change. "Operation: Get a New Job" commenced!
I was VERY Fortunate to find one! Today was my first day. I think it went well. For once, I'm really excited about change!
Because I'm not the kind of person that can just walk away from stuff unfinished, I still worked this weekend at my old job and will be working next weekend too. And maybe a few weekends after that! Pulling double duty will be tough, but the $$ will look so good on my credit cards!
