so I've been thinking that there are a lot of people that I've met in my lifetime. I've met a lot of people through school. I can honestly probably tell you who all my best friends were from elementary all the way through college and beyond. (Marcus, Kletia, Chris, Becca, Lindsey, Brad, Mel, Gina, Danny (or so i thought)and probably some more i've forgotten). Basically those are people i'd jump in front of a train for. the other really close friends... i'd just probably push out of the way or yell or a bus... yeah i'd do a bus.
Anyway, I've been thinking about the majority of the people I've met lately, and when it comes right down to it. I don't like them. Not at all. To tell the truth, I've always been bad at picking out friends by myself. I tend to leach on to them and we get very close. Sometimes it's out of sheer attraction, other times i just really like their personality. Lately, I find that it's been out of attraction and that's been the spiraling downfall of my social life.
Ok so let's get it straight.
I don't like to drink (excessively)
I don't like to smoke
I don't like to go to gay clubs
I don't like to go shopping (no money)
I like movies... they are..... entertaining
I'm okay in large groups
im very okay in small groups...
So when people ask me "so what do you do for fun?" I honestly don't have an answer. I've never had an answer. I don't know what people who aren't always out partying or come back every weekend hungover do for fun. Believe it or not im just uncomfortable in a lot of unfamiliar surroundings. that's why i work so much
So anyway... what do i do? I spend a lot of time online and i meet people... these people become my friends but they don't know much about me. But what kind of people am i meeting online? Young guys in their mid 20s that are still out partying their asses off living at home with mom and dad or making nothing of their lives. Or the mid 20 y/o that have super nice lives, houses, cars, but always out partying and seem to have a good job (i wanna know what they do!).. or the older 30/40 year old guys that have a head on their shoulders but wanna live vicariously through younger guys. I meet girls that are like "omg, you're my newest gay best friend cause gay men are so awesome and they're so bitchy and we can guy watch together"... yeah that does happen.
So now what
friends...
