Relatively good week, some minor panicking over my exams. Have been feeling a bit down the past couple of days, possibly a combination of exam stress and 'aunt flo'. Regardless, last night I picked up some of my self help books again and I'm trying once more to embrace compassionate thinking, which is where I've been struggling the past week - my self-image and self-worth has really taken a nose dive but hopefully I can pull it back.
Some interesting ideas include writing 'attention' on your hand to remind you to pay attention to your thoughts and feelings, and to wake up in the morning with a conscious decision to be happy, as I often wake up with the decision to revise subject A in the morning. So this can be a similar thing.
Also, I am trying to get out more - i've been calling myself 'pathetic' as of late, which I should be trying to be free from but also part of it is the feeling that I am acting too old and missing out, so I'm trying to take part more.
