I've nearly finished Andi's Italian Ren dress. All that remains is grommeting the bodice.
We're going to Boars Head on Saturday, she and I and a Vue-load of UWGB kids, caravaning with a few other cars. As a last minute thing I decided I wanted to wear something new. With the fabric leftover from my navy and gold dress, I'm making a navy brocade sideless surcoat (gates of hell! gates of hell!) tonight. It'll go quick, there's no sleeves. There's no sides either. :) AND it'll look smashing worn over the burgundy kirtle dress whose manufacture made me weep with frustration.
