Eurovision 2010: 1st semi final
Crushing! For all my love of the Slovakian entry, it turns out her vocals didn't cut it live and they didn't even qualify :-(
I must be a jinx - I have heavily supported 2 Maltese entries in the past that I practically thought were winners only for them not to qualify!
Loved the Serbian entry's outfits so much - dresses made of bubblewrap! Totally extra points. I thought that entry was ridiculous till I watched it properly, now it's rather good in a quirky way! The singer looks utterly bizarre but the performance was flawless! Glad it qualified, because Lithuania might not (even with sparkly pants!) and we need at least ONE comedy entry.
Anyway, the juicy entries were basically ALL drawn for the second semi-final, so we'll see what happens! I can't actually watch it, I'm busy, but it's all building up to Saturday ;-)
