Life's been fairly mundane this past week. Nothing much to report. Felt overwhelmingly tired this evening. Dropped by CIDA to check email, etc. and picked up a job for later this week. I'll be editing the N-CCO (Nigeria-Canada Cooperation Office) pamphlet. Actually really looking forward to the work, as it's been hellishly boring for the past week and a half with no work. Then, tonight, I went over to my friend's place to watch Veronica Mars (which makes me think of my girl Jamie in T.O.). I said to Sherie, at one point and for some reason I can't remember, "you don dey kolo, abi?" She laughed and said "what does that mean?" Eberre translated "you've gone crazy". It's one of my favourite Pidgin English expressions. My absolute favourite is "wahala", which means something along the lines of "craziness, nonsense, BS," etc. So, "no wahala" means "no problem". Or "what is all dis wahala?" = "what is this nonsense?"
Anyhow ... I'm tired.
Peace out.
