18 days to go...
I took Jacob (my younger brother) to see The Golden Compass last night. I really enjoyed the film, though Jacob was not impressed by my constant squealing and hogging of the popcorn, or so he says. On the way home on the bus (which we had to wait 45 minutes for!) Jacob tried to guess what everyone's daemons would be. He struggled a bit and then said 'what do you think Zo?'
Me: *In one breath* Mam would be a horse, a brown one. Lowri would be a dolphin, Grandma would be a robin, Grandpa a seagull, Uncle Lee a hare and though James wouldn't be settled yet, I think he'd maybe settle as an otter.
Jacob: O.O
I was excited all day about seeing the film so I was kinda hyped for my interview with Rathbone. Fortunately, the woman seemed to take no notice and I start on Monday ^_^ Am kind of nervous, seeing as I haven't been in proper education since I was 15 but I really can't afford to sit around the house being bored all the time, occasionally going out to see my friends. Cal agrees, he thinks it's time we turned our life around. I'm to stop thinking about my father, my illness and all the other shit I've been through. I'm going to be positive now, or try to be anyway.
I'm going to Fiona's house tonight. We're just going to have a quiet drink and listen to some music, relax, talk about total crap as usual.
