Update!
Finally got refitted for bras! Mine had all gotten way too big and kept slipping off, and gapping weird at the top. Apparently I went from a 36B to a 34C. Hrm. Dangit, the two new bras I got are super comfy but bras are expensive!!!
I've been ridiculously sick. I hates the coughing part. Didn't sleep for like 3 days. Better now, but damn!
Work is going ape-shit crazy. I have been given unmeetable deadlines to meet - 6 functional domains to get through IT functional requirements review by August 19th. BWUAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
Had second round (in office) interviews with a company in SF this Monday. For 5.5 hours. Small, interesting, nice folks. But very disorganized - made me wait for a week+ to hear back that I was getting second round interviews, and of course haven't heard back from them since... meh. Onward goes the search...
The second week post-boy is easier. Sunday still sucked, as I was too sick to go out and see friends and was home alone. I hate being home alone. Have been in touch during the week - he's having a shitty week too so we've been commiserating. In a weird way distance may help us remain friends. Here's hoping - before we got together as more than friends we spent nearly a year doing 19+ hr work days together and liking it, so I know there is solid friendship there if we can get back to it.
Decided Tuesday night that I wanted to feel normal. Went grocery shopping for the first time in nearly a month and invited two friends over for dinner. Cooked. Ahhhhhhhhhhh.
Redid the finances and reset my autodeposit stuff and autopay stuff. Yay for rent! Yay for expenses reimbursed! Boo for expenses owed! I make more money than I ever have before in my life, but thanks to the house my disposable income is where it was when I first graduated from Cal Poly. Wow. How the heck did that happen?
This weekend I'm going to a beer bash and an art exhibit. But I have no plans for Friday yet, at least I don't think so... Anyone want to eat, drink and be merry?
