Well. Rini and I were talking this morning, at which she pointed out that Serenity isn't doing well. The numbers just aren't there to justify a sequel, no matter how much we have fought, loved and bled for Joss and the Crew. And it hurts to admit it, but I think we have to be happy with our one shot.
Yet... Yet...
I'm with Mal. We're too pretty to die and we held. We held on for two-three years, and I'll continue to hold.
Like a tee-shirt worn (and fought over in our house) says:
Well, Browncoats, we've put up with the cancellation of our beloved Firefly, the nailbiting wait for the DvDs, the nervewracking anticipation for the announcement of Serenity, and the kick in the guts in the delay of the release date...
And with December 20th as a possible movie dvd release, what does that make us?

Course that don't stop us from praying for sequels....cause Patience is a virtue, not just a dirty doublecrossing, deceiving...deciever.
