WE'RE HOME!!!!!!!!!!
Eli was released last night around 10 pm so we are now home and rested and ready to pick up the threads of life again.
The bacteria found in his spinal fluids and urine samples was ruled to be just a contaminant (someone breathed on it or something picked up from his skin...) so meningitis was ruled out at that point. Still no explanation for the initial 101* fever but reassurance that babies get fevers sometimes... probably just a viral thing that was treated by the bombardment of antibiotics.
So off and running again!!
ABI's 2nd Birthday party will be held here at my folks house, 4 pm Sunday if anyone is interested call or ping me for directions!!
