Hey guys, just a quick one tonight! Pay attention to the last point in the post, it's important for a big event at the end of the month!
canon updating This should have been announced weeks ago, but various things just pushed it off the charts. In any case, canon updating is now available to all characters. We'd like for them to have been in game at least a month, however. It's in the FAQs but, all you need to do for updating, is just shoot the mods an email and let us know where the character is being updated to and how long they will be removed from gameplay. Minimum is three days, max is one full week.
constellation contest This was touched upon in the last mod post, so hopefully we can expand on it now and explain more what we're looking for. It's very simple, really. We're just opening the door for you players to help build upon the game world. Of course, we can't predict how many of you will be interested in this, but we hope something strikes a chord with you. The constellations can be anything, there's no real rule to follow-just let your imagination lead the way. This first contest will be open for one month. That means, it will end on November 6. Depending on interest, we will do these in batches and present a few in game at a time (roughly around five at a time-again, depending on how many we get). The only thing we're suggesting is ...please don't make them all dick related. It's all in great fun but only one penis constellation is really necessary.
Anyhow! Each constellation will be posted in zodibrary with all the proper credit to the player(s). Just copy/paste the following form in an email to the mods: zodionmods@gmail.com and come next month, the sky will begin to take the shape of your doing! The myth behind it doesn't have to be super long, just something quick and to the point. Or you can write however much you want. As for the shape, we'd just like.. you know, dots and outlines. Good thing about constellations is they rarely make sense at all, so these don't really either. That's about it! Feel free to start sending them in as soon as possible!

mystery event For those who've checked the schedule for the month, you may have noticed that October 24-29 has a "mystery" event slipped in there. And, well, it's still mostly going to be a mystery for now. As it rounds closer upon the event time, we will release all pertinent information.
However! Right now, we need to start rounding up volunteers. That is, obviously, where you guys come in. Down below you'll see three threads asking for three different types of volunteers. The event has changed just a tiny bit, so we're now going to need about 18 characters for this. Six for violence, six for death and the last six for "saving" the day. We know with the amount of characters we have in game that 18 seems like a small amount, but it's just a smallish scale event for fun-and the entire game is included in participating. This event is not optional. Sort of. Again! We'll explain more as time draws closer.
Some things to keep in mind about volunteering for the event:
- EVERY CHARACTER WILL BE CHOSEN RANDOMLY!!! Every random choosing we do in this game is decided by the great RNG.
- If your character was chosen for anything in the Crux, that character will not be chosen for this.
- For the violent part of this, do not throw your character in to be chosen if they would not willingly harm someone or kill someone.
And the biggest one of all-! We know it's hard to keep secrets, but we will be contacting the players chosen through email (so please make sure we have something to contact you by if it's not on your character info post!!!). No announcement will be made about this and we'd like to try and keep as much of it under wraps as possible. We are asking those players chosen to try and keep it a secret, too. (As you all will be told before the event info is released to the game!) We won't chastise anyone who spills the beans, but it's more fun to keep the mystery going for a little while. So, with those things in mind, choose wisely ♥!!
