[katniss is working as well...sort of. she doesn't have many students, so her shift is a short one. now she's walking into the co-ed changing room, unaware of the sprig of mistletoe hanging over the doorway.]
[he doesn't have many students either. in fact, sometimes he wonders why he even shows up. mistletoe is about the last thing on his mind as he stands in the changing room and gathers up his things. he was just about to leave when she enters and he can't help but look. he doesn't run into other employees much...]
And I'm just arriving... [well, that felt awkward to say. in fact this whole situation just feels awkward. she wants to walk away from this awkwardness and continue on with her business, but for some reason her feet can't seem to move. she's stuck.
she glances up and finally notices the hanging plant on the doorway.]
What's going on? [she points at the mistletoe sprig] What is that thing?
[ for once, he hasn't actually done anything out of the ordinary. so her first question throws him off a little. however, he glances up as she points and instantly his brow raises. what, she's hesitating at the door for a sprig of mistletoe? ]
That... is mistletoe. As tradition would have it, if you catch someone underneath it, you have to kiss them.
